ANB4U was founded in 2019 by Jamie Christian to address mental illness , youth mentoring and homelessness . After her grandsons were murdered and son was shot and paralyzed from the waist down in 2023, she started a program for gunshot wound survivors . She noticed that it was significant gaps for patients and caregivers after a person was discharged from the hospital, and she wanted to be a part of the solution. ANB4U provides an array of supportive services to gun violence survivors and caregivers in the Watts and Los Angeles, California area. These include:~weekly survivor Peer-Peer mentoring~Group counseling~Caregiver support groups~Wellness and wound care supplies
